Don't build links to your site with the exact anchor text in you link web wide, you could find yourself filtered out of search altogether...

100 Links -----> "Keyword"
the links should instead be titles as a mix of different keywords but all revolving around the same theme like this:
25 Links ------> "Keyword"
25 Links ------> "Keywords"
25 Links ------> "Keyword Place"
25 Links ------> "Keyword Website"
